About This Game Welcome to the world of Trash TV. Cast away into a recycling center, you play an outdated tube television animated to life with a singular goal – find your remote control and become fully functional again. Navigate through the perilous pathways of the recycling factory, avoid machines set out to flatten and pulverize you into scrap parts, and pick up various weapons of wicked destruction to solve puzzles through explosive solutions and to use against haywire machines.A finalist of Intel’s Level Up 2011 game development contest, Trash TV’s addicting action and clever puzzle design is coupled with a haunting background brilliantly set by the chilling ambient tunes. It was fun!. An enjoyable platformer with a pleasing visual style. The puzzles aren't exactly complex, but it was still an enjoyable, but most of all beautifully styled expirience.. Controls well, a few clever puzzles. Very short. Worth getting on sale, but know that you're only getting a few hours of gameplay.. I can't put my thumb on what kept me attached from beginning to end. I mean, that only took an hour and a half. There's no narrative, but there's just enough stuff going on to kinda make up a story as you go. The gameplay is easy, the puzzles not frustrating, and the music is something that makes you want to turn the SFX volume down low. The whole thing makes me think of old old old indie games, the freeware stuff made in MMF2, KnP, or Game Maker. Something like Within A Deep Forest or Knytt. It might even be worth the whole $7, if that's what spurs the devs on to actually make the sequel that was teased.. Has some interesting mechanics, but too short to actually make more use of them. It should be cheaper.
